Handmade knife produced in the city of Nontron in France. The knife’s shaft is made of boxwood that has been drying for more than four years.  The tree used for the knives are sustainable and grown in France. The blade of the knife is made of stainless steel.  The process for every knife consists of more than 40 steps. All steps are handmade by the same employee.  The steel comes from “Acieries de Bonpertuis” in France – a proud company with great traditions that dates to 1434. 

The knife can’t withstand dishwasher.

This blade is stainless steel. While it is resistant to stains and corrosion, “stain-less” does not mean “stain-proof.” Care must still be taken to keep the blade dry when not in use. Wipe dry after each use and ideally between preparing different products, especially when using acidic and salty products. Hand wash and dry only. Store away from liquids and open windows. Keep the blade covered when storing or traveling. Use only on appropriate cutting surfaces such as softer woods and plastic.
