Really high quality, bare hard felt strop on a firm base so it has no give.
Felt strops will be slightly more efficient at cleaning up edges post sharpening/maintaining than leather, and you could certainly finish off of them. Ideal for softer western knives, butcher knives, and other higher-volume knives.
Use only an edge-trailing/draw stroke. Can be loaded with micron abrasive pastes or sprays. Clean periodically with a slightly damp rag, allow to dry before using.

Really high quality, bare leather felt strop on a firm base so it has no give.
Leather strops will be slightly better at finishing edges post sharpening/maintenance (or as a stand alone tool) than felt strops. Leather strops work on an array of knives, and are especially ideal for Japanese knives and other fine blades.
Use only an edge-trailing/draw stroke. Can be loaded with micron abrasive pastes or sprays. Clean periodically with a slightly damp rag, allow to dry before using.

The Tempered Glass Lapping Plate is designed for efficiently and thoroughly flattening NSK Kogyo Diamond Stones, especially for grits 1500 and below. Its large, extremely hard, and perfectly flat surface allows for more consistent flattening than using only the Stone Resurfacer or NSK Kogyo Flattening Stone, while also helping to reduce wear on flattening stones over time.
Because tempered glass maintains flatness exceptionally well, it provides a long-lasting, reliable reference surface for your stones. For best results, it should be used in conjunction with the other flattening tools.
Recommended Flattening Sequence
1. Stone Resurfacer
2. Tempered Glass Plate (with slurry generated from the resurfacer)
3. NSK Kogyo Flattening Stone (closest respective grit)
This sequence ensures a fully flat surface and prolongs the life of your stones and flatteners.
