This Stone Resurfacer #120 Large is excellent for maintenance during sharpening.
When the surface is not flat enough or when the cutting speed is slowing down, a light rubbing with this stone can bring it back to the perfect surface.

We recommend using NSK Kogyo's Flattener to flatten the stone before starting to sharpen and using it for maintenance during the sharpening process. This resurfacer is recommended for use on NSK Kogyo stones below #1500.
