Interpretation of the Stone: A medium hard Shinden with strong cutting speed and a fine finish. Best used with very little water to start a mud from the stones surface or using a worn 1500 Atoma to build a mud for sharpening. Overall very good feedback across the stones's surface, bringing out fine detail in basic soft iron on Tanaka white 1 cladding as well as showing excellent potential for wrought iron and similar iron cladding when using a light slurry of and water.
